Effective: April 21, 2026
Last updated: April 21, 2026

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Commmun. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to sell paid access, receive payouts, or make purchases that require a payment method.

If you use the platform for a company, label, studio, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Identity

You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and use only accounts that belong to you or that you are authorized to operate.

  • No impersonation, deceptive handles, or misleading creator profiles.
  • No account sharing that bypasses access restrictions or moderation actions.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Contact hello@commmun.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Creator Obligations

If you host paid events, memberships, or advisory sessions on Commmun, you are responsible for delivering what you sell and complying with applicable law.

  • Listings, schedules, pricing, and access details must be truthful and complete.
  • Paid experiences must be delivered substantially as described.
  • Creators must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before collecting payouts.
  • Attendee data may only be used to operate the purchased event or membership, not for unrelated scraping or resale.
  • Creator content and event behavior must comply with our Community Guidelines.

4. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Commmun uses Stripe to process ticket purchases, recurring memberships, and creator payouts. By purchasing or selling access on the platform, you also agree to Stripe's terms and policies.

  • One-time checkout flows include the ticket or session price, a 6% platform fee, Stripe fees, and any disclosed live-delivery cost shown at checkout.
  • Memberships use a 6% application fee through Stripe Connect plus Stripe processing and billing infrastructure.
  • Creators are responsible for taxes, compliance, and reporting on their earnings.
  • Refund handling follows our Refund Policy.

Fraudulent chargebacks, abuse of promotional credits, or attempts to bypass checkout may result in immediate restrictions.

5. Content, Conduct, and Restricted Uses

You retain ownership of the content you upload, but you grant Commmun a non-exclusive license to host, store, format, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the service.

You may not use Commmun to publish or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, harassment, infringing content, spam, malware, or activity barred by our Community Guidelines. We may remove content or disable access when needed to protect users, creators, or the platform.

6. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe material on Commmun infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@commmun.com with the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing URL, your contact details, a good faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a lawful counter-notice.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend listings, disable payouts, restrict messaging, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or threaten platform integrity.

We may act without advance notice when immediate action is necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or security. Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination, including payment, dispute, intellectual property, and liability sections.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Commmun is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, creator performance, or third-party platform availability.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Commmun is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

9. Disputes and Governing Law

Before escalating a dispute, contact hello@commmun.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms as the product, legal requirements, or payment workflows evolve. Material changes may be surfaced in-product or by email. Continued use of the platform after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@commmun.com.
