Refund Policy

This policy explains when buyers can expect refunds, how creator cancellations are handled, and how Commmun approaches membership billing and payment disputes.

Effective: April 21, 2026
Last updated: April 21, 2026

1. Overview

Refund eligibility depends on what was purchased, whether the creator delivered the experience as described, and whether the request is governed by law or the creator's stated refund terms.

2. Ticket Purchases

Ticket sales are creator-led transactions processed by Commmun through Stripe. Unless the creator states a broader refund window, ticket sales are generally final after purchase once access has been granted or the event has started.

  • Checkout totals can include the ticket price, a 6% platform fee, Stripe fees, and disclosed delivery costs.
  • Refunds typically return the purchase amount paid by the buyer.
  • Non-refundable platform or processing amounts may still be refunded when required by law or when Commmun approves an exception.

3. Canceled, Rescheduled, or Materially Changed Events

  • If a creator cancels an event and does not offer a comparable replacement, buyers are entitled to a full refund.
  • If an event is materially changed, Commmun may require the creator to issue refunds.
  • Rescheduled events may remain valid for the new time unless the creator or applicable law requires another option.

4. Memberships and Recurring Billing

Memberships renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally issue a refund for the current billing period after access has been provided, unless required by law or approved as an exception.

If a membership was billed in error, contact billing@commmun.com as soon as possible.

5. Chargebacks and Abuse

If a buyer files a chargeback, we may request supporting information from the buyer or creator. Accounts that abuse refunds, promotions, or payment disputes may lose checkout access or be suspended under our Terms of Service.

6. Support

Contact billing@commmun.com with the order email, event title, and reason for the request so we can review it quickly.
